The editorial staff . . . Professor George B. Vaughan became editor of the Review in the spring of 1993. With 17 years of experience as a community college president, Professor Vaughan has expert knowledge of the community college environment . His first initiative as editor involved creating policies to ensure that each manuscript submitted for consideration receives equal and fair treatment. He devised the idea of a rotating nine-member editorial board composed of community college practitioners and scholars. The editorial staff relies on recommendations made by the editorial board, which consists of nine practitioner-scholars chosen to represent the readership. The staff also calls upon external reviewers who have experience with specific research topics and methods. |
