Scholarships2012-2013 Scholarship AwardsThrough the generous support of corporations and friends of the College, we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships to our incoming students based on merit and/or need. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $2,500 and are only for competitive students who are currently enrolled in or have been admitted to the College of Education. Competitive students who have been admitted to the College of Education by January 30, 2012, will be contacted via email or letter in February and invited to apply for a scholarship. Notification about the availability of scholarships and the scholarship application process will also be posted for current/continuing undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education.
Eligibility And SelectionStudents are encouraged to apply for admission to NC State early since they must be accepted to be invited to apply for a scholarship. Only students who are currently enrolled in or have been admitted to the College of Education will be eligible for scholarship consideration. Students interested in need-based scholarships must also complete the FAFSA. Scholarship recipients will be selected from among those who are most competitive and best meet the eligibility criterion as outlined by each scholarship. To determine your eligibility for any of the scholarships offered, please take time to carefully read the description and requirements of each scholarship listed on this web site. Please note that the Harry Lee Bowling Endowed Scholarship and Lillian Ruth Rupard Memorial Scholarship are offered to College of Education students but recipients are selected by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Application Process and Instructions:All CED scholarship applications must be submitted electronically. When you are ready to apply, please go to the scholarship application link below that corresponds to your current classification (In-coming Freshman students, Current Students, Graduate Students) and follow the application directions. When you complete and submit your application you will be prompted to save a copy of your application to your computer and email it as an attachment to ced_scholarships@ncsu.edu.
