New CED Leadership Award
The College of Education is calling for nominations for a new award for those dedicated to the College. The first Leadership Award for Outstanding Service and Advocacy to the College of Education will be presented in the Fall 2009.
Instigated by the College Leadership Advisory Board, this award will be presented to an individual based on leadership for significant contributions and outstanding advocacy for the College of Education. The honor will also recognize distinguished service and provide an opportunity to establish new standards of excellence to which others may aspire.
The dedicated advocate who wins the award will represent the mission of the College of Education: preparing professionals to educate and lead in the 21st Century, and overall someone who has made a difference in extending the work of the College into the larger community.
