This position will support the development and instruction of an online master’s degree in Adult and Community College Education and the coordination, instruction, and recruitment for the online Community College Teaching Certificate program. This position will be a member of distance education outreach within the innovation-driven College of Education. NC State is a land-grant research institution nationally recognized as a leader in science and technology. Located in Raleigh, NC, the state capital, NC State collaborates with other world class universities, as well as other adult learning organizations in the Research Triangle Park and the state. Contributing to the intellectual capital of the region, state, nation, and world, the Adult and Community College Program prepares individuals for advanced administrative, instructional, research, and policy positions in adult education, community colleges, and related organizations. The appointment requires an earned doctorate in Adult Education or a related field. Candidates must have prior experience in the design and instruction of online master’s level coursework. It would be desirable for this individual to have experience in development of distance education programs and recruitment of distance education graduate students.
