Eligibility to Apply   All Applicants must:

  • have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 overall and a GPA of 3.0 in all mathematical science courses.
  • be committed to teaching in grades 9-12 in a high-need school district. Noyce Scholars must teach in a high-need school district for two years for every one year of funding received.

Undergraduate Scholarships:

  • Students who are within the last three (3) to four (4) academic semesters of undergraduate study and are current majors in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education are eligible to apply for the undergraduate scholarship. All undergraduate applicants must intend to earn a double degree in Mathematics Education and either Mathematics or Statistics. Preference will be given to those accepted into both majors by the application deadline. Undergraduates may NOT be a current Teaching Fellow, Park Scholar, Caldwell Fellow, or other full scholarship recipient.

Post-Baccalaureate and Graduate Scholarships:

  • Candidates who currently hold, or will earn by August of application year, a Bachelors degree in a mathematical science (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science), and wish to pursue grades 9-12 teaching licensure are encouraged to apply for the post-baccalaureate and graduate level stipends. Preference will be given to those pursuing a Masters degree in Mathematics Education as well as licensure. Acceptance into the masters degree program is a separate process.
