LoriAnn Stretch
PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS
She earned her PhD in Counselor
Education with a minor in Psychology from NCSU, and her M.S. in
Community and College Counseling with a specialization in Special
Education from Longwood University. She is currently the Lead for the
PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella University. Dr.
Stretch has served on several professional boards and currently serves
on the NC Board of LPCs. She works with a diverse group of individuals,
couples and families in her private practice in Clayton, NC.

Millie Maxwell
PhD, LPC, NCC
Adjunct Assistant Professor
Counselor Education Program
In addition to her appointment as an adjunct assistant professor of counseling at NCSU, Dr. Maxwell is a National Institute of Mental Health postdoctoral fellow and clinical instructor in the Eating Disorders Program in the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed a BA in English from Wake Forest University, an MA in English, an MEd in counseling,
and a PhD in counselor education and supervision with a minor in
\psychology from NCSU.

Angela Smith
Counseling Specialist
LPC, NCC, M.Ed.
Angie Smith, LPC, NCC, M.Ed. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Angie attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received her B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Human Resources and a certification in gerontology in 1999. Later, she received her M.Ed. in counseling at North Carolina State University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Counselor Education at North Carolina State University.
