POSTLUDE
What a rewarding experience
for parents to take children to see and enjoy Historic Oak View County
Park! Like John Dewey's perspective on learning, we believe that
knowledge is "experienced" not just simply "learned." Howard Gardner's
Multiple Intelligences Theory has totally changed the definition of intelligences.
Every child can learn. As parents and/or teachers, we need to find
these children's strengths in learning and encourage them to explore the
world using their own different learning styles. We hope you enjoy
your learning experience at Historic Oak View County Park.

Beautiful Historic Oak View in springtime.
After collecting sap from a pine tree, the
sap is then boiled to make pitch, tar, and turpentine.
The farmer on the tractor is communicating
with the satellite overhead.
